Having wriggled around topless on our radar for a while now, high camp pop provocateurs Faux Real have finally announced their debut album Faux Ever. Following recording stints in London, Paris, New York, and Provence before settling in Los Angeles, Franco-American brothers Virgile and Elliott Arndt spearhead the release with the addictive lead single 'Love On The Ground'. Leaning heavily on close harmonies and accomplished vocal lines, it's arguably the pair's most accomplished work to date as the piece glides through considered verses, masterful pre-choruses and euphoric climaxes. Maintaining glimpses of their avant-garde roots, rigid industrial beats glitch tastefully beneath bouncy synth work and 80s toms. Oozing satisfying melodies left right and centre, there's a confident level of restraint about the single as the pair seem to really step into their own.
